Kilim 6

KILIM 6 is the most elevated trail in Bukit Kilim, reaching a stunning 202 meters above sea level. This trail follows the same path as Kilim 2 and Kilim 5 in the beginning but later veers off to a separate, towering summit—the highest point in the entire area.

The journey is physically demanding, involving a steep ascent, scrambling over rocks, and climbing rugged limestone surfaces. Some sections require the use of both hands and feet to safely pull yourself up sharp, exposed rock faces. This trail is suitable only for those with good fitness levels, a strong sense of balance, and the right gear—gloves and proper footwear are essential.

At the peak, hikers are rewarded with one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Langkawi. From this lofty vantage point, you can gaze down at the meandering Kilim River, where mangrove boat tours take place below, weaving through the dense greenery and dramatic karst landscape. On a clear day, you’ll also catch a glimpse of the southern coastline of Thailand in the distance. The feeling of standing at the top of Bukit Kilim, with such expansive scenery around you, is an unforgettable reward for every step and climb it took to get there.
